| Stage One (A) | Newport Controls receives a User Requirement Specification (URS) from you, the customer. |
| Stage One (B) | Newport Controls will generate a Functional Design Specification (FDS) from your URS. |
| Stage Two (A) | Newport
Controls will assist with or completely generate an I/O Listing of the system. |
| Stage Two (B) | Newport
Controls will assist with or completely generate electrical schematics of the system. |
| Stage Two (C) | Newport Controls will assist with or carry out the specification and procurement of Hardware linked with the system. |
| Stage Three (A) | Newport Controls will write a PLC project for the system. |
| Stage Three (B) | Newport
Controls will create a HMI project that allows operator interface with the system. |

Controls will carry out a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of system at the machine suppliers designated testing area. |
| Stage Four (A) | Newport Controls will assist with the installation of the system. |

Controls will carry out machine commissioning at final customers site and finalise the testing with a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of the system. |

Controls will write an Operations and Maintenance manual for the system. |

Controls will introduce an on-site handover training package for the system to meet the needs of the end-user. |
